my friend is an xray tech who was just diagnosed.he’s working in small clinic that does regular xrays.no surgery’s involved
Yes, people with Hep B can work in hospital settings. If you think about it, many people do not even realize they have Hepatitis. We are trained to protect both ourselves and our patients. We learn to act as if every patient has HIV or Hep. Even people with HIV can work in the Health Care field. In fact, if someone is fired for HIV or Hep B, they would have a great discrimination lawsuit. Also, an employer cannot require a HIV or Hepatitis testing prior to employment….it is none of their business……
